Knitting Weaving Spinning
In Sheep’s Clothing, 10 Water Street, invites knitting and crochet enthusiasts to grab their knitting/crochet bags and a friend or two, to spend this Saturday afternoon, Feb 24, 1-4 pm, making baby caps that will be donated for charity. Participants will also have the choice of making Peace Pals, cute knit or crochet dolls that are donated to children in need of comfort in areas of local and global suffering and conflict. Yarn for the dolls and hats will be provided in the shop at no charge. The hats and dolls may be made on either straight or circular/double pointed needles. It is suggested that participants bring a variety of sizes in needles and crochet hooks, as well as a tapestry needle, stitch markers and scissors.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
