Unlike “Black Friday,” Small Business Saturday is a shopping concept that I can really get behind.Let the big box stores have their day; Small Business Saturday is for us little guys. I was very pleasantly surprised at last year’s turnout, and am looking forward to old and new customers to purposely come out to shop smaller businesses. Many a customer declared last year that they were “shopping small” that day, because more and more shoppers are becoming aware just how important shopping locally really is.
