I use this to make crocheted placemats. it is light to work, and with acrylic blend it washes/dries in my machines very well without “fuzzing”. I need one ball (skein) plus about 15 feet more (haha) to make a 16″ by 12″ placemat. Everyone I make these for really loves my placemat gifts… and they are easy to do. This new yarn I made a few in “Adelaide Oval, Color #9 that I purchased a year ago. Unfortunately the color is now discontinued. Comments I’ve had on these noticed that they washed well. Glad to have found In Sheeps Clothing for Cairns yarn now. My other small shop in North Carolina no longer sells Cairns yarn. By the way, I use my FAVORITE Crochet Hook for my arthritis which is an “addi 5.0” Thank you Ginger for having this yarn!!
