Knitting Weaving Spinning
Sun. Sept. 10, 1-3 pm.
The collection of knit garments and accessories in Cozy Coastal Knits uses a series of different
textured stitches to add visual interest to your finished piece of wearable fiber art. In this two-hour
class, we explore some of the textured stitches worked in the round in the collection. We will
create a small swatch library from which you can derive inspiration to begin your own finished
garment or accessory.
Homework: Cast on 60 stitches and work 2″ in a K2 p2 rib in the round, gauge is not critical,
approximately 20 sts to the inch will facilitate the discussion during class

locking stitch markers, pen and paper, and scissors, students must have purchased a copy of Cozy Coastal
